We're now accepting registrations for 2009!  The registration form (pdf ) is linked off http://MovieFest.org.nz/register  or download straight from here: http://MovieFest.org.nz/MovieFest-2009-registration.pdf  

You can make payment direct to our bank, via cheque or credit card - and it is $30 per movie ($25 ea if paid by 25/08/09). Unpaid registrations will not be eligible for judging or registered. Please reference your team name or email MovieFest.org.nz with remittance advise if paying electronically.

Key dates are
  • Pre-Registration: The deadline for registration to enter the competition is 5:00pm, 1 August 2009
  • MovieFest Topic Announcement (start filming): The MFT for 2009 will be announced on 4 August 2009 at the commencement of the competition. If you're registered - you should get an email.
  • Late Registrations will be considered up until hand in.  You must submit payment with your Movie Detail Form or at your earliest opportunity
  • Handin: Movies and signed movie detail forms must be completed and sent to organisers prior to 5:00pm, 2 October 2009.

I don't wanna be the fool of the day  Roll Eyes but does the topic mean it has to be a documentary about "Movie-making" in particular or can it be a doco about anything?  Huh

There needs to be some element about movie-making in a documentary. How you interpret it is up to you.
