[Discuss MovieFest] submission and time investment question

Very happy to say that we managed to get ours sent by trackable courier 2:30pm =)

I'd be interested to find out how much time other (especially primary) schools were able to invest in this... With us, we basically had lunchtimes (only one last term to brainstorm ideas), 3 after-schools, 1 for scripting, 2 for filming (about 3 hrs each) and 1 extra after-school (lastnight about 4 hours) for editing... Prob about 50 hours total?

But we were also trying to do the Fair Go ad awards... so minus 3 lunches this term. We found that comp easier as a primary school because as soon as we heard about it, we were able to start making things and scripting etc over lunches.


Have fun with prelim judging - would love to come but can't get there from Auckland
