Thats right.  Posted no later than (close of post) on Friday 11th  
August.  At my local post office (Te Puni Mail Centre) I can get away  
with 7pm posting and still get overnight fastpost, but generally 5pm  
for a main centre or 12 noon for the outside areas - check your local  
postal service.  If you're couriering it - make sure it's sent on  
Friday.

Generally if we don't have it by the Monday, then we'll come looking  
for it, especially if you say it's been sent.  Generally a miniDV  
tape will fit in a normal envelope, and i have seen entrants get away  
with just a 45c stamp.  I have also seen tapes returned to sender due  
to insufficient postage. Make sure you've padded it sufficiently -  
because there's nothing worse than us getting half a tape or a tape  
less the cover etc.  The Movie Detail form makes good padding.

Please also play your tapes back!  Watch your movie on at least one  
device prior to sending it - and cue it at the start of your movie.   
In the past we have had multiple dubbed copies of some random TV3  
show as someone had selected the wrong input. With 100+ tapes to  
watch and sort we aren't going to spend time trying to figure things  
out.

If you want your tapes/media back - send a stamped self addressed  
envelope too - we will send your tape after we have completed the  
finals.
